Summertime!

Today Shepherd is 8 months old! It's been such a blessing to have this little man in our life and watch him grow. His personality is really starting to show as he learns new skills and explores his capabilities. He's just the best. We love him so much.

The last few weeks have been quite busy. In June, Ronnie's Grandma passed away. Thankfully we were able to take Shep back east for a quick trip so he could meet his Great-Grandma before she passed.

It's sad to not have her here with us, but we are thankful for her faith and legacy. She was a mighty woman who always prayed and encouraged us in our ministry. We miss her dearly. This was Shepherds first trip back east, so he got to meet lots of new family, including his other Great-Grandma (Swords) who is 99!

We took a trip down to Ensenada for Ronnie to teach in the Ensenada bible school for a week. He taught on Paul's letters. It was great to connect with so many friends and have Shep there with us.

Jamie and Shepherd made a trip to Tennessee to see family and friends. Our friends who live in Washington happened to be doing a mission trip in Knoxville so it was fun to see them too!

At the beginning of July Ronnie got to build a HOH house with a great team from Indiana. The family was extra sweet and definitely deserved a house.

Here in Chula Vista we are still serving at our YWAM office with different tasks ranging from maintenance, and hospitality, to reception and Ronnie is helping buy vehicles for the YWAM fleet. A few weeks ago we hosted our North American Mission Adventure Elder Circle. It was a great time to pray over and talk about the Mission Adventure ministry we all love so much. We have a few weeks of teaching coming up this fall along with a few ministry trips. Please keep our family in your prayers!
