We are excited to be back in Mexico with YWAM to start 2022! The last couple months we spent back East with family and friends. We had a few ups and downs. Towards the beginning of November we suffered a miscarriage, which felt defeating and frustrating. If I am totally honest, it seemed to wipe out the hope and joy the Lord had been restoring in us. But as we continue to press into God, He continues to gently lead us forward. We know we are not promised a pain free life, but we are promised His presence in the midst of our pain. Isaiah 43:19 has come up quite a bit lately, so we are keeping our gaze forward and holding onto His word.

"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."

We spent the last week driving back west from Tennessee/Ohio and we made a pit stop at the Grand Canyon! (it only took crossing the country 9 times to make it happen) It was beautiful, and snowy. We hiked, biked, camped, and star gazed, and felt refreshed by it all.

This week we will begin a school with YWAM called the Community Development School. This school will help equip us for our long-term call we have to the nations. We are grateful to be able to take some time to learn and focus on developing our ministry skills over the next 12 weeks. There will be class time, ministry, books to read and group discussion with seasoned missionaries.

We know that God will use this time to prepare us for an even more intense calling. We feel the Community Development School is a great way for us to continue to grow and pursue our call to the ends of the earth. The last few years have been devastating and challenging in so many ways. It has been a process for us to get back on our feet.

Often we were unsure of what missions or ministry would look like for us moving forward, if at all. But God has kept speaking to us about missions. We both feel ready and excited for what lies ahead!

Our Needs:

PRAYER: For our time during school to be productive and intentional. For us to be intentional in hearing from God & for future ministry plans to fall into place.

For our family and future family. We are continuing to hope for a healthy pregnancy and, and are praying about pursuing adoption:)

FINANCES: We are so thankful for your continued and ongoing partnership in the mission God has called us to. But we need to make you aware of our financial situation. We need to raise our 2022 budget to keep up with rising costs. Our immediate need is to raise $10,000. This will help underwrite the cost of our training school, which will serve our long-term missionary work. Additionally, it will help provide mobile housing which is necessary as we move into this next season.

Please prayerfully consider partnering with us and ask God what your response should be. All donations are 100% tax-deductible. Please reach out for any questions you have regarding our finances. We know financial partnership is a step of faith on your part as well so we do not take that lightly, but we do love how God weaves together a whole network of people to fulfill His kingdom work.

Please keep us in your prayers! We love you all

Below are some fun pictures of the last couple months : )
