As we slowed down the last week to spend time reflecting, we really stareted to see just how full 20204 was. It had many moments of beauty nestled into hard sesasons. It had wonderful community, but we also learned lessons that only come from solitude. There were moments that felt like the best yet, and moments that we would rather not relive. But, no matter what each day held our goal was always to continue on the long road of obedience in the same direction (thank you Eugene Peterson for putting it so perfectly).
Below are some of our highlights, get ready for alot of photos : )
We kicked off the New Year learning our newly turned 1 year old could move a lot faster than we thought.

The months were full of house builds, working in the office, debirefs, visits from friends, a trip back east, biking, hiking, teaching, and reading lots of books to Shepherd.
And this brings us to August. We got to speak for one of our favorite Mission Adventure teams, M10. They spent the week building a couple homes, working at orphanages and rehab centers, and loving the people of Ensenada so well.
September we flew to the Phillipines for a global YWAM conference. Shep did 36 hours of travel like a champ! The conference was a great time of connecting and being encourgaed in what the Lord has called us to.
October brought another debrief and Shepherd's first pumpkin carving.
November, Shepherd and I took a quick trip to Arkansas to see Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. It was a blast! We hosted another Theme Team, planning the theme for Mission Adventures 2025 with other YWAM bases. We got to see Travis, Lara, & Davis, and celebrate Shep’s 2nd birthday with tons of balloons.
December- We moved back to ENSENDA!! Thats right, we are back living in Mexico! We are still unpacking, but it feels good to be back here. We traveled to Idaho to debrief a DTS returning from India/Nepal and Kurdistan/Kazakhstan. Ronnie’s parents came to see the place in MX to spend Christmas and New Year’s with us.
The end of the year has brought another big transition for our family as we have moved back down to Mexico. We are excited about the community and friends we already have here. We are excited to see how the Lord leads us in this next season, and the work that unfolds.
Thank you for walking with our family throughout the year. Your prayers, support, words of encouragement, and especially when we get to see you in person bless us deeply. We love you all, and pray that 2025 is beautiful and fruitful for you.

We just love you guys so much and pray for a year where you all feel lifted up because God lifts up those who humble themselves. You’ve walked a hard road and we are with you every step. Isaiah 43:18
